Shields Park

Shields Park has 12.5 acres and is the oldest and first Park for Seymour, Indiana, designated by Meedy Shields in 1852, and is located in the northeast section of town at 6th St. and Broadway. Shields Park has two lighted baseball/softball diamonds, horseshoe pits, basketball courts, a shelter house with electrical service, picnic areas, playground, two concession areas, ADA accessible bathrooms, maintenance area and the Shields Park Pool.
